It uses vertically mounted flat bag filter bags offering high space utilisation and the facility to fully assemble with filter bags, pulse cleaning system and electrical controls shop fitted and tested prior to dispatch.

Construction of Pulse Jet Filter - SDFv Series
The filters are manufactured in an all welded modular construction. They come in various standard sized modules, but due to the flexibility of the design they can be custom built to non standard configurations. For the larger application these modules can be grouped together to form an integral unit. This concept allows gas flows of almost unlimited capacity to be treated.

Applications of Pulse Jet Filter - SDFv Series
The SDFKv is used on a wide range of applications from general dust control on materials handling systems to process control on kilns, boilers and metallurgical processes.

Filter Bags
The filter bags are of oval construction and come in lengths of 2.0m, 2.3m, 2.5m, 2.8m & 3.0m. They can be supplied in a wide range of fabrics dependant on the application. Servicing is done from the top of the filter offering rapid, safe and efficient removal of the filter bags. There is no need for maintenance personnel to enter the dirty side of the filter during bag removal or fitting.

Cleaning System
The filter is cleaned on a compartmental basis where one compartment is taken "off-line" before the cleaning system is actuated. Compartmentalisation also permits the unit to be serviced "on-line" allowing bag changing etc., to be conducted while the remainder of the filter is in operation.
