Introducing the PC1600 Series of Programmable Controllers: Tough, smart and very, very flexible, these programmable controllers offer great functionality for industrial applications. The PC1600 Series has an extensive range of I/O, communication ports, data storage and data manipulation capabilities and has been designed to operate in tough industrial environments such as:

Energy management and control
Data and Event logging

Advanced programmable controllers, the PC1600 Series can be programmed in any of the IEC61131-3 languages and also incorporates 32 MB FLASH memory for data and event logging.
The PC1600 Series of programmable controllers are available as:
PC1600 – Board only
PC1610 – Enclosed version (in anodised aluminium enclosure)
PC1620 – Enclosed version with LCD
The PC1600 Series hardware features include Real Time Clock, battery packed RAM, 16 x Digital Inputs, 6 x 12 bit A/D inputs, 3 x Universal Inputs (configurable as digital or analogue inputs), 18 x FET Digital Outputs, Ethernet (10/100 Mbps), R232 and RS485 serial communications ports, In addition, the user can easily program the inbuilt 4 line x 20 character Liquid Crystal Display (PC1620 Model only) and 7 key keypad.
The inbuilt software features include the ability for users to FTP configuration files to the PC1600 Series, and retrieve time and date stamped data log and event log files via FTP. There are standard function blocks available to generate these logs and the PC1600 Series also support the Modbus Master and Slave protocol (both TCP and Serial). This allows the PC1600 Series to connect to SCADA and HMI packages, and to interrogate smart devices such as Energy Meters and remote I/O modules.
