He will succeed Reiner Schwarz who accompanied the start-up of Doka Australia from July 2011.
Christian Unger, an Austrian citizen with a permanent residency of the Commonwealth of Australia, graduated in Civil Engineering and holds a graduate certificate for International Business & Marketing obtained at the University of Innsbruck. Mr. Unger has been living in Australia for 19 years.
He collected relevant experience in diverse companies within the construction industry. He worked over 9 years with Hofman & Maculan Bau AG as a Project Engineer and Project Manager for civil and building projects.
During the 9 years with Gleitbau Salzburg, he initialised his long term step to the East Asia Pacific Region, starting as a Project Manager, developing to Director of Sales & Marketing, as well as Branch Manager for diverse locations such as Singapore and Australia.
His career path reflects his development in Strukturas AS as Director of Business Development, Director of Sales and Marketing for Asia Pacific region, Western USA and Canada as well as Director of the Board for SDI International.
He will take over from Reiner Schwarz continuously by 31st October 2014. We would like to welcome Mr. Christian Unger and wish him success and support in his new assignment.
