MAP Sensor

• Sensor tube 8 mm diameter (6 mm available on special order), length to order.
• Stainless steel head 20 x 20 x 35 mm.

• Fully isolated terminal block, connected to sensor inner and outer conductors.
• The output is compatible with all zirconia-based oxygen analysers.
• An internal platinum thermocouple is optional.

The sensor tip must be heated to a temperature of at least 700°C, in air. Position the sensor symmetrically in the hot zone of the heater. Check that the impedance of the sensor is less than 10 kohms and that the air-to-air signal is less than 2 mV.

Pump reference gas into the end connection and remove it from the top connection. The gas flow rate should be in the range 0.1 - 0.3 l/min.

The DC mV signal will then indicate the oxygen concentration, according to the Nernst equation.
