The Ezy Shelter takes the industry standard portable shelter to new levels of practicality.
With planning in full steam ahead for southern hemisphere winter ski resorts, this is the time for development plans to be put into action.
Some resorts are either upgrading their facilities or ski runs, but most are starting to prepare for snowmaking.
New Zealand's Mt Dobson Ski Area are developing a new base area building, race training facilities and planning snowmaking.
Mt Bulla has always been ahead of the game in snowmaking when 3 years ago they successfully prototyped the Giant Inflatables Industrial Temporary EzY Shelter model to store their freshly made snow.
The need for the EzY Shelter by ski resorts is due to the impact that the weather, particularly rain, has on the freshly made snow. This time consuming and costly exercise can be a waste of money and labour if there is nowhere to store the manufactured snow.
The EzY Shelter can be insulated with aerogel insulating materials to keep the shelter cold. The miracle of aerogel is that 10mm of aerogel is equivalent to 50mm of polystyrene insulation. Therefor even if it is more expensive, it is the best overall type of insulation not only from an effectiveness perspective but also from an ease of use and safety perspective.
The EzY Shelter takes the industry standard portable shelter to new levels of practicality. This temporary Shelter can be erected and packed away by one person. It is therefore convenient for snow making season because it can easily be erected when needed and just as easily removed when no longer needed.
