These hermetically sealed angle or tilt measurement sensors are produced in an automated environment resulting in a high level of uniformity from sensor to sensor.  Geared towards the OEM marketplace, they feature a PC board mounting design, no moving parts, and a symmetrical pin design which eliminates installation orientation concerns.  A variety of models are available to fulfil all applications and budgets.

 

These angle tilt measurement sensors have application in the fields of Automotive, Industrial, Aerospace, Construction, Medical, Agricultural, Oceanographic, Geophysical, Architectural and GPS.

 

These tilt sensors can measure total ranges from ±20°C to ±70°C.  The resolution can be up to 0.005°C and repeatability can be up to 0.02°C.  It has an operating temperature range of -20°C to +80°C. A range of signal conditioners for these tilt sensors can be supplied with an output of 4-20 mA , DC voltage or RS232.

 

The electrolyte used in these sensors is an alcohol based fluid, contains no heavy metals, and is non-corrosive.  The conductivity and viscosity can be custom tailored to satisfy widely varied applications.
