DEPRAG High Powered Air Operated Turbine/Angle ...
With 4.5kW of power and the most efficient type of pneumatic motor available, these tools will reduce grinding time and reduce your consumption of abrasives.
Deprag Industrial has just released their new 230mm and 180mm turbine angle grinders. They weigh only 4kg but at 4.5 kW output power they are more than twice as powerful as a 240 Volt 9" electric grinder.
The increased power means that you will save on labour and abrasive costs because of faster, more efficient material removal. Abrasives work best at an ideal speed and when they slow down the abrasive doesn't work efficiently and will not remove material as quickly as it should.
Apart from the increased power, the pneumatic turbine motor is also more efficient than a standard vane motor, and it is much longer lasting.
A typical vane motor will use around 38cfm of air per kilowatt of power. Our turbine grinder uses only 28cfm per kW, and the air is automatically throttled so that the air consumption is lower when not under full load.
Vane motors will need replacement vanes and eventually replacement cylinder and endplates. Turbine motors have no sliding parts, there is no contact between the rotor and the rotor housing so, as long as the compressed air is clean and dry, the motor will be problem free for years of heavy use.
The new angle grinders feature an adjustable guard and side handle.
Deprag Industrial products are imported and distributed by Assembly Technologies P/L.
Deprag Industrial manufactures a large range of air tools for industrial use including grinders, drills, chainsaws and air hacksaws.
