Taylor Made Architectural Joinery is a specialist manufacturer of high-end architectural joinery, refined furniture, and custom interior fit-outs. With daily reliance on air-powered tools, they needed a compressed air system that delivered consistent performance without taking up valuable workshop space.
Joinery workshop practicality was key. Easy access to compressed air, a compact system footprint, and clean, dry air delivery are essential to precision joinery and finishing work.
Working in a tight workshop layout and a tucked-away rear access point, Focus Industrial supplied and coordinated an air-lifted, complete turnkey compressed air package into position. Our pre-mounted package with the compressor, dryer, and multi-stage filtration integrated onto the air receiver tank delivered a ready-to-run system with a minimal footprint and a clean, organised installation.
For their consistent daily air demand, we specified an FC100-30D fixed-speed compressor paired with three-stage filtration, ensuring reliable airflow and a clean air supply for sensitive tools and finishing processes.
To distribute air throughout the workshop, we core-drilled through the brick wall to provide direct internal access. A 32mm poly piping network was installed, feeding 14 air outlets, including 12 hose reels, strategically positioned across assembly stations. This resulted in fast, easy access to air for nail guns, brad guns, and general workshop tooling, keeping production efficient and clutter-free.
The entire installation was completed in just two days, with most of the time dedicated to precise pipe layout and outlet positioning. The outcome is a fully outfitted joinery workshop with dependable compressed air and clean integration.
