When Sydney welcomed 2018 with its world famous New Years Eve fireworks, two JLG 1350SJ Telescopic Boom Lifts from leading hire company Botany Access were there to help set up the show.

Along with 50 more JLG machines recently purchased by the company, they're also set to help Botany Access continue top meet the demands of Sydney's construction boom into the years ahead.

Fielding Sydney's largest privately owned fleet of access equipment for hire, Botany Access supports a multitude of major public and private projects with their wide range of scissor lifts, elevated work platforms, scaffolding, cherry pickers, forklifts and telescopic handlers - along with a comprehensive and skilled EWP training that helps safeguard those who work in and around them.

Knowing that quality and reliability is crucial for their customer's success, Botany Access offers trusted service 24/7 and is ready to meet any access and material handling needs with their more than 1000-strong hire fleet- over 50 per cent of which now comprises JLG machines following the December 2017 purchase of two JLG 1500SJ Telescopic Booms Lifts and 50 JLG 1932R Scissor Lifts.

"We're very happy with the all-round experience of working with JLG - we like the products, the reliability of the machines and the JLG team, the service and back-up," explained Botany Access' Managing Director, Justin Brownbill. "They are extremely good with service backup and product support, so if we do have an issue they get straight on to it - there are a lot of really good aspects to the partnership.

"JLG machines are excellent; from the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems through to paintwork, it's all top class. Even with some of the other top suppliers you have paintwork chipping off within 12 months of delivery, whereas JLG machines in particular always look great even after five years of service - which also reflects well on the quality of our fleet."

With more big projects on the cards for 2018, Justin Brownbill said Botany Access plans to acquire two more JLG 1500SJ ultra booms in the coming months and will also go through JLG's preferred finance partner, DLL, for these purchases. Having partnered with JLG for over 10 years, DLL provides JLG and our customers with adedicated account manager who is always available to assist in tailoring finance packages to meet specific customers needs.

"There's a lot of hire work going on in Sydney with the construction boom, so we'll need another two 1500SJ ultra booms and will go through JLG for finance on those as well. We're very happy with JLG and DLL - they offer a fantastic facility that we utilise."

Speaking to JLG's Account Manager for Botany Access, Stephen Heffernan, it's clear that the partnership is also valued by the JLG team.

"Botany Access is dedicated to providing a premium fleet for their customers and it is always a pleasure to work with a loyal customer to deliver on such a positive mutual goal," Steve said.
