The refrigerated centrifuge Centrisart® G-26C is characterized by a speed up to 26,000 rpm or a gravitational field up to 62,000 x g, and is therefore especially suitable for the sedimentation of very small particles or substances with low density differences. Typical applications are the isolation of viruses, organelles or membranes and the precipitation of proteins. Of course, the cooling centrifuge Centrisart® G-26C can also be used for applications that do not require high speeds, such as the isolation of nucleic acids by means of spin-pillars or the ultrafiltration means Vivaspin® units for sample concentration as of antibody solutions, sample desalting or buffer exchange and removal of contamination with small or very large molecular weights. The programming of the refrigerated centrifuge Centrisart® G-26C is performed with only one button that is used to select and set all relevant parameters.
