Changing Victoria’s unsealed road network to an asset rather than a liability by using PolyCom stabilising aid.
Earthco Projects Pty Ltd is the Victorian distributor for PolyCom Stabilising Aid, a polymer-based product designed to stabilise and strengthen soils and quarry materials.
PolyCom is predominately used for unsealed rural road construction and maintenance but has many other applications including sealed road construction, embankment stabilisation, rural airport strips and transport yard hardstands.
Advantages of PolyCom over other methods include: the opportunity to re-use existing road materials and save natural resources, water resistance, water savings during road construction, reduced dust generation from unsealed roads, reduced maintenance activities for unsealed roads, reduced sediment run-off into table drains and waterways, and ease of use with minimal OHS issues.
Earthco Projects’ vision is to leave a legacy in Victoria of longer lasting, sustainable roads by introducing a minor modification to existing practices.
