This tank is to replace an existing tank, which will be lifted in through the roof and therefore the ladder and platform need to be easily removeable and reinstalled.
The platform is an improvement from the existing tank so as to create a safer access point rather than just a ladder the inspect the instrumentation on the top of the tank as well as the internal ladder.
